2025年の夏。
わずか2か月前に誕生した新しい政党「チームみらい」は、あっという間に全国へ広がっていきました。
参院選で議席を獲得し、国政政党としての一歩を踏み出したその背景には、2万人を超えるサポーターの存在がありました。
「手を動かすこと」を合言葉に、ポスター貼りや街頭演説のサポート、SNSでの発信、動画投稿、さらにはシステム開発…。現場は汗だくで泥臭い活動でしたが、その背後には「誰もが関われる仕組み」「限られた時間で成果を出す工夫」「多様な人がつながる文化」が息づいていました。
その根っこには「手を動かす」「誰かをおとしめない」「分断を煽らない」というValuesがありました。迷ったときの拠り所になり、行動を後押しする言葉でした。
そして、私たちもサポーターの一人としてチームみらいの活動に参加していました。
「サポーター」という立場でチームみらいに入り、当事者として“手を動かす”ことで、自律的に動き始める人々や組織の姿を間近で体験しました。
岩切さんが中心となって取り組んだ「721自治体のポスター掲示板情報収集」などの挑戦も含め、そこには単なる政治活動を超えた“自己組織化する組織”のリアルがありました。
このセッションでは、私たちがサポーターとして見てきた「チームみらいの中で起きた自己組織化の物語」を共有します。選挙という特殊な舞台で、数十人から2万人へと広がっていったチームの変化を振り返りながら、アジャイルな組織づくりやコミュニティ運営に通じる学びを参加者と一緒に探ります。
Summer 2025. "Team Mirai," a political party born just two months prior, swept across Japan. Winning seats in the Upper House election, they stepped onto the national stage—powered by over 20,000 supporters.
Their motto: "Take Action." From manual poster-pasting and street campaigning to social media outreach and system development, the field was a whirlwind of "sweat and grit." Yet, beneath the chaos lay a sophisticated framework: "lowering barriers to entry," "maximizing impact within time constraints," and "a culture of inclusion." At its core were three unwavering Values: "Take Action," "Refrain from Attacks," and "Bridge, Don't Divide." These served as a North Star for every decision and a catalyst for every movement.
We joined this movement as supporters. By being in the trenches and "taking action" ourselves, we witnessed firsthand the emergence of a truly autonomous organization. From the challenge of mapping poster boards across 721 municipalities to the rapid scaling of the volunteer base, this was more than just politics—it was a living laboratory for self-organization.
In this session, we share the story of self-organization within Team Mirai. From a handful of people to 20,000, we will reflect on this rapid evolution and explore the lessons for agile organizational design and community management.

Akiko Iwakiri(@kohsei) As the inaugural organizer of DevSumi, they have connected a wide range of engineers, and through the “Traveling Agile Bookshelf” initiative, they have created opportunities for people to encounter books and ideas. They currently work as an advisor and consultant for multiple companies. Since joining Team Mirai as a supporter in May 2025, they have been responsible for logistics, poster mapping, and street campaigning activities in the Tokyo electoral district.
Ayaka Moribayashi (@kumaGoro95) Discovered Agile through a career transition and currently serves as a developer specializing in Agile implementation support. Joined Team Mirai in June last year, where they have been actively involved in the Hokkaido electoral district, handling campaign poster placement and street speech logistics.
Yuichi Tokutomi (@Tommy109) Web Engineer and XP Practitioner specializing in Agile implementation and development support. Since joining Team Mirai as a supporter in June last year, they have championed the movement through social media and creative content, including a viral-style introductory article inspired by the comedy duo "Milk Boy." Currently spearheading preparations to support Team Mirai's open- source projects.
